I've tried to repair warped with my 10 ton press but only have a 10% success rate, I quit when I found a good used 349 spool and I found a Newell aluminum one.  Get a new spool, aluminum if they made them.

Oh i see, i was thinking that my father in law own a CNC workshop maybe he could made something , what do you thinck

I believe the Penn 267 Long Beach had the same size spool as the 67 -- and it was made of aluminum. If you can find one of those spools you'll have a much better 67, especially if you add a SS gear sleeve and go with a 5 stack drag.

Hi Akfish, actually Alan send me ss gear sleeve and 5 stack drag also a jigmaster power handle, but the spool doesnt hold that pressure, the reel was upgraded.

someone could confirm if 267 has the same size spool??

Have a nice day
