Abu Morrum Question

I'm trying to upgrade an Abu Morrum to a high-speed retrieve. Does anyone know if the Morrum can use the main gear from an Ambassadeur? Or if there is a way to up the gear ratio?

The Abu rep said the same thing. Two Morrums will be in my shop in a few days, I told the guy to just send them on and we would see. I'll let you know how it turns out.

the trick is getting a pair of gears that match up, center point to center point, to the stock gears.

You can take a morrum 3600c from 5:1:1 to 6:3:1 with these parts

24098 main gear
24097 pinion

These are out of the high speed sx morrums.
