HOLEINTHEWATER

THE NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT.
THe numbers and days may not be exact, old timers?
We got to Last Chance bay Friday afternoon and set up camp. We fished Last Chance Bay and caught some bass, but all small. Fished from shore that night and caught some skinny stripers. Saturday went down Last Chance fished some side canyons and the end. We caught a few small mouth, still all on the small side.Fished the entrance of West canyon Saturday afternoon got into a good top water bite until dark.  Caught stripers from camp that night. Fished Last Chance and Padera Sunday morning. Picked up camp and headed to Dangling Rope to top off tanks. The TOON started running like crap. Make a long story short,  after changing out filters and plugs, it would run good for awhile then go into slow mode. Got thinking about it a remember there was a filter screen, just before the fuel  injectors. Was plugged up, pulled it out and cleaned it out. The Toon ran great the rest of the trip.  looks like the ethanol is breaking down the hoses. got change them out before our next trip.
Got to Neskahi, midday Monday and set up camp. Catching was great the rest of the trip. WE caught sm,lm, crappie, walleye, cats and stripers. 100 bass a day for the boat was about average, with the rest of the different fish mixed in. Tuesday we found a school of stripers in the middle of a cove on the fish finder. They were in  20 ft to 30 ft of water. filled the ice chest.
Started out Wednesday fishing for Bass caught a bunch. Decided to go back to the stripers, fished from shore and non stop catching until we decided we need to clean fish and have lunch and a nap.
That afternoon went out and chased Bass. catching was great.
Thursday went back to the striper hole and they were gone. We still caught over 100 fish the rest of the day.
Packed up Friday morning and headed home.
I will give you all more info on what and how we caught our fish when I get some more time this week.
