I have a black model F I V E and am having trouble finding parts and upgrades.  Any help would be great thanks

The Abu FIVE was the inexpensive version of the 5500. The only upgrades I'd recommend would be ball bearings instead of  bushings on the spool, and perhaps metal spool end caps to replace the stock plastic ones.

Several options available, as you omitted whether yours is ultracast or solid axle. Open as many of these as you need to, and then open a couple of regular 5500's. I keep the plastic caps to sell to folks who lose the metal ones. I put up a spiel like this: If you want another* 12.00 metal cast cap, I have those. If looks are unimportant, I can also sell you a functional plastic cap for 3.00. You pick.

*Note: this is Canada and its retail pricing, and it inclues the shim, and axle control disk. Americans can usually do better with ship and price.
