Hi all I just got a new shimano biomaster 4000xd sw from japan and used it a few days last week in the surf and offshore and copped quite a few decent splashings in the surf and a lot offshore,so i rinsed it each day with freshwater and applied some oil to the the lineroller etc and also stupidly under the rotor and It has gotten into the clutch  :-[,I currently have the reel apart and plan to clean and relube everything. should i be dismantling the clutch to clean the oil out of it at all? is inox mx6 suited to the gears? and whats the go for bearing lube in this type of reel? I have some inox mx5 is this of use?. sorry for the dumb questions,i'm fairly mechanically minded, just new to servicing reels. any advice will be greatly appreciated, i'm in Australia by the way.

a light coat of any kind of grease goes on all the metal surfaces.  for the AR bearings, just drizzle in a light oil, and repeat that application as often as possible.
