spent the morning chasing birds out at montara, hoping to box a salmon or two. all we got were blues and lings on the troll. we finally gave up and started rockcod fishing for real. we boxed a half limit of blues, blacks, vermillions and cabs, released twice as many and also release two dozen underlings. the original plan was pescadero, but the boys wanted salmon. always good to be on the water, no matter what. now off to bed. i'm beat!
