Okuma Andros A5NS - cast control

Hi All

Pretty sure this is my first post can't remember if i have posted at any other time during my years of stalking this forum.

Pretty simple question.  I have seen there is a new single speed Andros reel available but it doesn't have the cast control.  Is it possible to put a 2 speed side plate on the single speed reel to get that functionality and would it be cost efficient?  I don't really need 2 speed as I would basically be using the reel for light weight jigging in Australia (30-100gram jigs).

Also wouldn't mind being able to cast with it in the event I want some land based bait soaking for small sharks or Jewfish.

Andros reels have a one piece frame. they do not have a removable side plate.
