Stella greased bearings

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum, have learnt alot reading thru the tutorials, loads of useful information there...

I've noticed many people packing their bearings with grease, I can understand the need to protect against corrosion, however I love Stellas for their buttery smooth retrieve, wouldn't greasing the bearings ruin that experience?

yes.  like so many things, it is a trade off.   and welcome!!!!!!!

Thanks Alan, yea I guessed as much, perhaps I'll just stick to corrosion X for the bearings, and maintain them regularly......
