Best main shaft lube?

What's the recommended lube to use on a spinner's main shaft?

I've always used Penn reel grease for any area to be greased, and that's what I put on spinner shafts, I apply it and then wipe off as much as I can.

I only use oil on the main shaft, usually reel-x.
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.
