Garage sale find

Just found this 500 at a garage sale for 5 bucks and when I got it home I couldn't believe my eyes.

Newell bars, seat, spool, and a 4:1 Newell gear set.

Changed out drags to carbon fiber and added a ss gear sleeve and dropped it on my 10' Fenwick with 30# mono.

The next thing is to double dog and maybe a 5+1 instead of the 3+1

Nice find William  ;). Can't tell from the shot, but It doesn't appear to be 2.5", is it  3"?
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.
