Penn 130H

Aloha
I need some expertise on a 130H. Replaced old Asbestos Drag Washers with current replacements. All seemed to go well, replaced Bearings and Serviced Reel.
When I put some drag on the preset and move the lever to strike, the Reel seems to be fighting the Drag. It gets hard to crank and I can hear rubbing.
One of my ST's has this same type of Drag and no problems.
Any help will be appreciated.
