Shimano Trinidad DC 20

So after cleaning the reel, I noticed that when I cast it, it stopped singing (DC noise makes when you cast lets u know its working). I took the grease of the magnets and cleaned it with alcohol and cleaned all the dc components but still no noise when casting. Called shimano up but they also have no idea on the problem. I reel guy was out so gotta call back Monday. Any one ever experience this on their dc?

i have always avoided these.  have shimano take a look if it does not work properly.

I was hoping that to be the last option. But I guess I don't have a choice at this point.
