Probably a repeated question, but what screwdriver can be used to take apart the reel foot from the frame and spool? Those screws are unconventional.

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

I change the allans to Phillips because I can get better torque on the screw head.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Get a set of Bondhus allen keys. I don't use them anymore for reels since they are in my tool kit for junkyard missions and for my boat, but it is hard to strip an allen head with the Bondhus keys. To be clear, I hate all screws in reels when they are seized or split when they corrode like the Penn flathead screws.

If the screws are seized, I put a few drops of TSI 301 and make a phone call to get them to free up
