Yes it is, it's really just a p20 frame that works for both a 505HS and a standard 500 reel.  They also make 99 sized (Narrow) frame/spool combos and there is a guy on eBay selling extended yellowfin sized spool/frame combos (same frame as a Newell 344).

wow - this has gotten way past actual fishing.  I just collect fish in the freezer.  >>blink<<
