Hi guys,

I was going through some of my fathers old thing and ran into this reel.  its a mitchell 314 reel in its original  box brand spanking new, I mean this reel was never even spooled with line. Does anyone know if is something collectors might be interested in.

Their is a considerable number of collectors that would be interested in that reel. Their is a Mitchel forum on line that would be a good place to start.

By the way, what a cool score. Got to be honest, I love them so much I'd spool it and fish it!

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.
