In other words my annual pilgrimage to Southeast Alaska for a week of fishing on Prince of Wales Island.

Hopefully, my next report will be something like this....a tub of chromers at my feet. These from last year.

Beautiful fish! I just got my first Chinook last week on the Columbia.

Good luck.

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

I stay in Craig - or just out of town a few miles - and fish wherever they are. This time the fish were mostly in the ocean.....not good for landlubbers! lol!  The rivers were dry and dead - meaning no Oxygen - resulting in MAJOR fish kills and SUPERB aroma. The bears did not even come down to dine. More later. Still recovering from the mountain of work to dig out from under.

Short version is 3 fish boxes followed me home =  the freezer is full again! yee-Haaa! ;D

I had a facility on Clarke Bay (Hollis) and an office in Crag.  I preferred the north end of the island for fishing and the south end for hunting.
