I am having trouble with the shift button sticking,
when i tighten the two screws down the button get stuck in either position...
any ideas?

jim and i were working on an avet with the same problem.  the quick answer is to back off the screws just a little and call it a day. the long answer is to fine the burrs that the button is catching against and file them down.  they might not be that easy to find.........
