Removing the rotar on a spinfisher 700

hey guys got a Spinfisher 700 i am working on. have it completely broke down except for the fact that i cant get the roter off the reel so i can get access to the bearing and remove the pinion. Can someone tell me if there is a trick to doing this.

It should come off by removing the one screw in the crosswind shaft,pull out the shaft ,then remove the 5/8 nut on the rotor.


[][/] It should just pop off.sometimes they are corroded & you have to rock them off. the bearing retainer is built in to the stainless cup under the rotor. If the bearing does not come free (they are often stuck)I have an earlier post for a homade puller under general procedures bearing removal.
