Stella 2008 Drag knob mod?

HI guys!

tot of changing the regular coiled spring in the 2008 stella drag knob to the wave spring in the 2013 model!

is this possible??  ???

I don't know if it will work. Call Shimano they should be able to tell you.

hi guys.

just asked alan hawk. he says its not advisable as the wave spring is alot heavier and hence the new drag knob is alot tougher, the old knob is not  and would cause problems for my 2008 in the long run

Maybe the drag knobs will interchange?
