113h freespool knock

I am having trouble finding what part is causing a knocking sound while the reel is in freespool. While it is in gear it is fine but in freespool it has a knock with each revolution of the handle. I have taken it apart numerous times and can't find anything obvious. Any suggestions?

did you try to tighten or looseIing the bering cup screw

Yes I did tighten the bearing screw with no effect. I have been changing everything that looked like it could be the problem and at last I found it, the spool! Put in a different one and problem solved. Shimmed up the gear sleeve and now it is fit for some of the local yellowtail. Weather is nice today in Baja Sur, at least in my part. The reel is my godfather's and he has a panga so I have to treat him extra extra special.

Sounds like an eccentric issue to me. Is the yoke pretty worn? The half moon brass piece that holds the pinion gear.
