Probably depends on the age of the man.  At my age bacon sounds mighty good!!    

I am batching it this week so I made some bacon cakes and they were great.

Another hunting camp variation for pancakes is to add some drained, crushed pineapple to the mix.  Always gets raves.

In my younger days, I craved bacon and could eat it every day.  Now, I still like it but not as much as before.  Maybe something has changed about it.  As for the other stuff, I'm told this is a family forum...

You must like bacon with your boats!

I like bacon but if I eat 1 piece I would taste it all day. On the boat it would bring the pasengers into the galley to check it out.
