Diawa Seagate 50 Star

Hello all,

I have a diawa seagate 50 reel with a broken star.  The factory star for these reels are plastic.

By any chance, will the aluminum star on the diawa saltist reels fit on the seagate reels?  Anybody tried swapping these stars?

the techs at daiwa might know.  call them at 562-375-6800.  many of them are a standard thread, but the collars around them are not.

Okay,

I was lucky to have another person bring their saltist reel to see if it fits on the seagate. Both of the stars look very identical.  I did the swap and yes, they are interchangable.
