Hello west coast fisherman , what is a favorite pattern of bucktail or hootchy  that you would like to share  with others,
Here are a couple I have made, and they are "killers" when fished with a hotspot flasher on the downrigger....mid season cohos..especially.

As I have used bait and rubber comercial type hoochys and the y work ok in some patterns,,,  these I mad to immitate baitfish and they are waaay more lifelike in the water .......the marabou and tinsel, add the action that a rubber hoochy cant.....thanks gst.

THEY LOOK GOOD. I WONDER HOW WELL THEY WOULD WORK ON STRIPERS?

I've put these Bucktail pics on the net before something & white is pretty standard here in BC-the spinner blades make all the difference.

From what I've seen there's a lot of crossover between Salmon & Striper tackle Salmon might be a little pickier in terms of plugs though.
