Braid eating reels???

Sal, I really liked everything about the Penn 100, size, easy to fish, simple. Mine were the only ones that I ever had any issues with. My 501's & 506's are no problem even with 20 lb. mono. Now knowing what I've learned here, maybe it was something as simple as installing a small shim inside the right side bushing..

This is a great point!! I'm going to check mine also. Never really looked at that before.
