Any idea where to get the part# 34C-130ST that has an image (I am an amateur so I want to see before I buy). Scotts website has no image

This is the complete rod clamp kit 33C-130ST
Includes 2-studs,2-nuts,1-rod clamp,2-penn wrenches, and 1-Allen wrench

The part number you mentioned:

https://www.mysticparts.com/PennParts/Parts/34C-130ST.aspx

Are just the two bolts and nuts.

There are 2 other rod clamp options as well:

https://www.mysticparts.com/PennParts/Parts/33-116.aspx

Standard weight, unringed rod clamp only

Or the heavy weight, ringed rod clamp only

https://www.mysticparts.com/PennParts/Parts/33-130ST.aspx

Or you can order directly from Penn:

http://www.pennreels.com/service/parts

Or you can get these parts online at:

http://www.ereplacementparts.com/penn-parts-c-186082.html

Note: you'll need the correct part number for these last 2 options unless you talk to a live representative.

If you need to replace the entire assembly bolts, nuts, and clamps...
You may want to consider buying SS carriage bolts, 4-SS nuts, and 2-washers and the heavy duty ringed clamp, since this will be stronger then the stock chromed-bronze alloy bolts.

Hope this helps

That is more than helpful. However my problem was that I can't see both images but ordered both part sets and the clamp anyway. I have two 130st reels so spares will always be required.

the carriage bolts thread should be sae or uss?

I think these are SAE 1/4"-20 , if memory serves me correctly (for which it often does not)
