Hi I have a few springs that I made  Leaf dog springs, coil dog springs,& a penn 704 bail spring

[ ][/] [][/]The leaf is made from an ice fishing flag, thin enough to cut with scissors. Then cleaned up  with sandpaper. It could also be made from copper flashing of the right thickness. The second spring is made from a bic lighter cut to fit
[][/img] I have made  704 bail springs too.
[][][/img][/[][/[][/]]]] Trial & error Took more than a few to get the bail spring right .It works. Some pics are in the wrong order.
You get the idea.

Thanks, I tried wire fishing line to make a bail spring it formed easy but, it wasn't "springy" enough.
after several fails the notebook wire worked great. i think welding wire would work too.
