Reel Repair by Alan Tani

So I need like 4 to 6 screws to hold on backing plates on my 4/0's. The ones I need are the easily removable kind.  I see em on eBay for $10





Here's a pic from eBay. I only need the screws but maybe I should just buy these heh?




PS I see on FB Scott's is fully retiring!!

Are the 4/0 screws the same size as smaller Penns? A 500 for example. Size is:10-24 x about 1.25 in. but gettin a hardware store ss carriage bolt that small is unobtainium here. I have 1 extra if you need it.

Thanks for the replies. I guess what I'll do is take close look at the backing assembly on my 330GTI's which look extremely close .....maybe interchangeable? Or maybe I'll just email Scotts. As always I greatly appreciate these pages. And God Bless Penn Reels!!!!!
