Reel Repair by Alan Tani

Hi guys, first post. I found someone who has a Tib frame for a 12T that I own that has been 2 speeded by Cal. Can someone tell me if the frame for a 12T and a 12LT is the same, hence the Tib frame will fit no question? Thanks much, Drew

Tiburon's website shows the T12 frame as fitting the 12T and the 12LT.

I have the same reel 12T I found a tiburon topless frame on eBay and slapped it on then sent it back to Cal to do his super 12 magic and double dog it with casting bearings and handle upgrade,  Oh man I can't wait until I get a chance to use it.

Cals has a handle upgrade for the 12t?! Looks like he changed the handle nut on it t00!

To see the freespol you don't grasp firmly and spin the spool, you just give it a little flick with one finger tip and off it goes!  And goes and goes.  I'm practicing casting by visualizing live bait soaring through the air, further and further away.  I think a bird nest in this reel would take about 8 days to untangle.
