I'd be astonished if it's a genuine Penn, but a very cool tail plate, nonetheless!   :)

I don't suffer from insanity... I enjoy every minute of it!  :D

Hi Aiala,

Yes it was the tail plate that caught my eye.

I've seen that before, I believe a Japanese copy of Penn, but i'm not 100% sure. Still, those would be cool to own, they would look sharp on a reel.
Mike, your stuff left Monday.
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Hi Sal,

Firstly thank you for my stuff!! you are a star as usual my friend.

I like the plate but at £20 I thought it a bit expensive, especially if you look closely at the inside shot, there seems to be a crack running from 4 o'clock to the centre.

Take care buddy,

Mike.

Sal , you are 100% correct . I saw one sold in the USA and this one sold in OZ . I kept the photos because it shows  "Japan" on the foot. Puts a stop to the BS that some people use to rip off for a "Rare Penn" .

Thank you for the photos and clarification Superhook.

I see the seller has dropped the price to £16, if he drops it to a £1 with free postage, I will buy it for the novelty  ;D
