While trolling for salmon one morning i came around this rocky point just in time to say hi to this beast.

These wolves are hungry too.

How did you get all those fish scales on your shoes my good wife asks?

Thankks for the great day fishing.

awesome Gary, its a nice feeling to see those animals in the wild and not at the zoo.

nothing compared to what you show us, but as you know I live in the Baja Desert and from time to time I also have the chance to see wild animals while walking from one of our job offices to another at my work, that many guys only see at the zoo like falcons, eagles, foxes, big lizzards, ravens, coyotes, roadrunners, etc.

by the way, nice salmons you have there

Only Alaskans can take salmon this season.  In the words of our fearless leader "crud."   ::)  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Some days there is not much wildlife to be seen.  Butt.

This Humpback Whale was just feeding along the shoreline where we troll of salmon and then sounded by a big tail in the air dive and we didnt see it for a few minuits.

Thanks for watching.  wish you were there in the salt damp air.

You need to stop teasing us ::)  ;D You got it going buddy ;)
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Gary, I guess the only thing missing is some pics of an Orca pod cruising through the Icy Straits.  ;)

...and no, please no shots of those stinky Sea Lions  over by the Pleasant island green buoy.

I've had enough sea lions.

One they got,  >:( one they didn't.  ;D

Thanks Steve eeo,  last year was reel bad with sea 🦁 lion predators,  butt this year it has been modest and hope they found a better place like Oregon or California where they are imbraced.
Go with our blessings and send back some pictures.

Wow!  Couple of thoughts: Firstly - No need to send any more "Mr. Whiskers" down south, we got plenty, and not enough Alpha's (Mako, Orca, White) to keep them in check...Secondly, in that last photo is that a tracking collar?

gstours

Yes mr steeveo.  sorry to say ak fissg n games decided to track all the possible moms in our moosy area.   Several were hit by a helacopter while and soon after the darting to immobilize them. " More on airlifting the broken helo out later"  we do see mooses around but very few bulls now,  even few babys which i always liked to see in the spring around the house.
You just go have a good time in the good salt air.  Its going to be fun for you.   We cant wait.
My Best friend is coming up to visit you asap! ;D
