I've just bought a Shimano Calcutta 400B on ebay (looks a mint one but it's still to arrive) for Plaice and Bream light boat fishing in the summer. My question is would I be able to fit either an Abu 6500 power handle or the gold after market Penn power handle. I'm able to grind out the slot on the handle if its a smaller than the existing handle but obviously I'm jiggered if the handle slot is bigger than that of the Shimano's. I know that Shimano sell a 'livebait' handle but this only seems available in the USA and is much more expensive than the other 2 handles. Many thanks in advance for any help given.

Not sure on using the Garcia or Penn handles. However if they don't work there is a guy on Ebay that sells power handles for pretty much every shimano. Dawn from Smooth Drag also has power handles, not sure if she has them for that size reel though.

Cheers lads, FYI neither the abu 6500 and Akios 656 power handles fit being a mm or 2 too big
