Stopping in to say HELLO! Have been visiting this sight often, and, enjoy the tutorials on reel repair. I'm from East Central Florida, but, as I am writing this I am currently at Vandenburg AFB, CA on TDY. Look forward to continued visits and learning more about reel repair.

Welcome, RM --

You will both learn and contribute much to this site.

It is the best in the World.

Alan and others have made this a great place to learn.

Thanks guys - maybe next trip I can get further up north for the beer. Looking forward to sharing some our east coast fishing adventures with our west coast brothers - posted in the fishing tackle section looking for some CA jigs that I bought a few years ago, buy, were unable to locate this trip. Adding a couple of pics of the vessel and a catch from last years snapper season

Welcome, nice skiff! From commuting distance of Kennedy and now at Vandenberg, going by RocketMan seems like a no-brainer. I have a button on my cubicle wall that says 'Why yes, I am a rocket scientist'! I'm not a rocket scientist other than by the kinda nerdy definition!

Welcome Rocketman.  If you are ever North in Morro Bay, visit our buddy Glenn at Morro Bay Landing and, if you have a chance, get out fishing with them. Good outfit of people.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Hi Rocketman --

Good looking boat & great snapper.

You should fit in very well around here.

This is not mean't to offend anyone -- and it is clean and funny -- typical Brit humour.

Nice one Fred, like you say, typical Brit humour, although I am technically a Brit, (I was born in Jersey Channel Islands) our sense of humour back home differs somewhat, we are more of the Monty Python brigade!!
