I have a Diawa 900 rock cod reel. I have done the drag up grade but I have misplace the handle arm I had cut it down and re drilled it for one of Alans big grips which I have. Does any one have the correct arm it bolts on to a hub type pices that screws on to the gear sleve. I don't really want to order a new stand to change it to a regular 900 its a pain to order and get the parts.

thanks
Wade

Hi Wade,

Alan Tani has a SS arm for the Daiwa 900H reel http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=13088.0.  Send him a PM as he is back from his long range fishing trip.

:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Will these arms fit the 910 rock cod or just the 900.

These will fit the 910 as well. The difference between the 900 and the 910 is the length of the handle arm and the handle.

Incorrect . . . The Set Plate is different and the Handles do not interchange, among other things . . .

"To convert a sealine 910h to a 900h, you need a 900h set plate (part #783-3302), a 900h handle screw (part #781-2301), a handle set screw (part #353-2811) and a 900h handle (part #748-1101).  you can call daiwa at 562-802-9589 and order these parts.  the total should be somewhere around $30.  add to that a 6/0 kolekar grip for $33 http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=158.0 and a drag washer set for $25 http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=153.0 .

the other alternative is to cut the handle arm of the 910h a little shorter.  the set plate for the 910h is quite a bit shorter than the 900h.

Where the handle attaches to the gear sleeve is far larger on the 910 than the 600H/900H.  I have handles available for both the 600H/900H, and the 910. You can see the difference in the gear sleeve hole in the picture I attached.

I have that style and an offset handle for the 600H/900H, and the 910 available on my website.  http://motivefab.com/products-page/reels

Yep they don't fit both reels. I have some of AT new handle blanks and took to my machine shop friend to machine it to fit the 900 reels.

Here is Alan's EXCELLENT tutorial on the DAIWA SEALINE 900H and 910H "Rock Cod Special" (Attached Below).

ALSO, the 910 uses BUSHINGS, while the 900 uses BEARINGS ( They directly interchange ).

Tight Lines ! ! !

I really like the NEW offset handle arm of Adams on my 600H! The length is just-right for me and the offset nature/bend of the handle is great. Its nice and thick, solid stainless with a "just-short-of-polished" finish to it (looks like a kinda gun-metal). Dont know if I want to put a mirror polish on it. Will put it on with 5/0 Kolekar from Alan this evening and give the handle the "stank-eye" examination for fit and finish.

Leo, that handle works for the 900h too right?

Post a pic please!
I woke today and suddenly nothing happened.
