Last sunday I went on a little boat trip to troll for king salmon.   The weather was great, but we found no fish to bite.
Instead we saw some animals in their natural home as wary as any wild animal would be with intruders around.
I got a few pictures from a bobbing boat, not the best but worth sharing I thought.   I hope you enjoy them..

After the brown bear sighting we trolled on for a couple of hours and came to a place were we saw a few wolves in the treeline and on the beach.  there was one black wolf, and the others more typical mottled brown.

Well I am an amatuer for sure, but thought it was worth showing some kinda rare encounters that a fisherman might encounter.   gst.

Not fair!  All we had on our part of Revilla Island was black bear and the "targets" (wolves) were not seen often. We heard wolves weekly. There were a few brown bear on the north end of our island.

Thanks for the interest, some days the beach is bare and rocky.  Some days more scenic.   Spring makes things wake up.  I guess?
