So after last years successful tuna fishing Scott decided that it was time to have his own setups. In fact we went directly to the rod builder 10 mins. After stepping off the boat. Well Scott got the call about a month ago his rod was ready. We finally got down to Point Pleasant NJ yesterday to pick up his rod. Neither Scott or I have any affiliation with Kevin Bogan other than that I have 3 of his rods for over 15 years and they have held up very well. Believe me when I say "I beat on my equipment" and IMO these are excellent rods for the $$$$.

Scott with Kevin Bogan of Fish Poison rods

And a couple of pics of the rod

Scott's building a nice 114h with the full Penn frame and all the SS bling that goes with it. This will be an awesome fish killer when done. I hope we have many, many fish pictures of Scott with this rod in the future.

Daron, he does nice work. Checkout his web site at fish at kevinbogans.com. Again I have no skin in this game but I can tell you that here in the NE on the head boats these rods are perfect blend of price and durability.

I have a rod that looks a lot like that. I traded to get it from my Brother.
It has a wood grip and Silver Gimbal.

And as For the jigging stick I got 113 Baja nice handle also got it in this site it's in great shape. Now I just need one more stick for my daiwa ld30t for the first light bite. Bring it on!!!!!!!

Alto you could pick three colors for the wrap your name on the rod and tuna, tile, cod decal etc. black or brass color for the reel seat and a fish poison decal also all for $230 I have used the rods befroe and they have backbone for sure and look nice also.

Daron, looks like the same style wrap. I really like the wood fore grip! Way cool. I dunno. I don't thing his wrap is anything special, but as a tool they work out pretty darn well. I wish I had some pics of the nasty crap we put these through.
