This is a big Chum or Keta salmon. We were fishing on the bank of the Snohomish River and not having any luck. There were a couple guys in a boat tied up to shore that were just slaying them.  My son was frustrated because we weren't catching anything. The guys in the boat yelled over and asked if they could hook my son up with a fish. He hopped in the boat and they hooked him up with this fish. They also clued me in on what the "secret setup" they were using was. We came back the next weekend and got into some fish, but nothing that big...

the most common thing on these pictures is.. the big smile in all the kid's faces .. priceless !!

good work guys, this is 5x better seeing the kids enjoying the outdoor world than inside the house paying videogames or connected on the social media all day.

keep the pics coming even if you already post a pic of your kid

My son Luke has been my #1 fishing buddy since he was a toddler.  He is 16 now and still fishes with me a few times a month.

Here he is with his first fish, at 2 yo (not sure why my eyes appear to be bulging out):

This him a year or two later with a nice bass:

Very nice pics, thanks for sharing.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.
