A Set of Prewar Narrow Penns

Finally got my set of prewar narrow Penns.  Now to find the matching boxes. 

All are non-numbered reels. 

49 has waffle clicker, plastic spool, prewar handle, stamped stand with clamp bolts.  Maybe late first year/1939, or second year/1940 reel?

The 149 has a hex clicker, plastic spool, old style/yardage-stamped stand, and a prewar style handle.

The 249 has a hershey clicker, 3:1 gears, wood oiler knob w/coin edge counter, yardage stamped on foot, and an aftermarket leather 'thumb drag'.  Likely produced prewar (1939-42).

Now to find a wide 49A, a postwar 130, and a 349HC.

Nice start John. The boxes are fun. There are quite a few different style boxes for the narrow reels. Even different names, depending on the model. Look for the 1941 or 42 box for the Model 49. The name on the box will be the King Salmon. Penn only named the 49 the King Salmon on the boxes, they were never named that in the catalogs.
