there's an old one and a new one.  if you have the old one on the right, drop it in a small container filled with penetrating oil and come back in a few days, a week, a month, or whatever.  it may never loosen up.  if it doesn't loosen up, call mysticparts.com for a new handle assembly, or i have a few extra as well.  i also have the offset grip that i personally like much better.  if you have the newer one on the left, it's easy.

find a small screw that fits in the screw cover cap.

screw it in and use a small pair of pliers to pull the cap out.

once the cap is out, you will see a LEFT handed phillps head screw inside the handle grip.  remove the screw and the handle comes right off.

going top left to bottom right, you see the reel with the handle arm and spindle, you see the grip and sleeve, there's the left handed phillips head screw, and the screw cap.  grease everything up, put it all back together and you're all set.
