I received a Shimano Baitrunner 6500B for service. On the exterior of the reel it looked pretty good besides the anti reverse lever broken, and visible corrosion. I went ahead and tore the reel completely apart and figured I'd soak the Anti Reverse Cam in PB Blaster to hopefully free the Anti Reverse cam. The Anti Reverse Cam is still seized in the body. I've tried prying also and using a dental pick and wire wheel to remove some corrosion. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also cannot move the cam back and forth at all.

Thanks for any help

If you have a soldering iron apply heat and cool with penetrating oil. May take repeat cycles to work.

It cannot be be salvaged due to the nipple being broken, and excessive corrosion. I did find the part though.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.
