I recently purchases a calstar I was really looking forward for my rod,but I received message that they are out of stock could be 2 3 6 months .What would be another rod that is almost part with lifetime warranty.

Could you look into another vendor? I would find it hard to believe that no one would have the model you wanted. You could always get a blank and have a custom wrap.

Are you going to the FHS this weekend?  Stop by the Calstar booth and ask if someone has one, or just look around.  There are a bunch of booths that are selling Calstars.

For 40# I use a Phenix psw760h or Seeker G6470. The 60# BFT in my avatar pic came on the psw760h and 40#.

I went Wednesday to FHS.  

Racks & racks of Calstars & everything else.

I bought a slow pitch nano graphite spiral wrapped from Kil at Jignpop.

The  show is overwhelming.
