     Does anyone know what it takes to get the spool out of one of these? I broke it down to the point where I usually have the spool in my hand, but for whatever reason it wasn't working out.

it's stuck. lean on it a little more.  watch your fingers!  it will come out.  use chopsticks and pry it out if you have to.

Thanks Allan, I will try a little more force tomorrow. I was at the point were it felt like something was going to break so I wanted to check if this reel required something a little different to get it apart.
