Omoto Talos II Speed Reels

I bought a couple of Omoto Talos II speed reels and two others were given to me as a gift.  I have the 14II, 14NN, 12II and 10 single speed.  has anyone worked on these yet?  I was curious as to what the inside looks like. Really appears as though they come from the same factory as the ProGear, just from the way the reel paltes look. I was thinking about taking it apart, but has been over 15 years since I serviced any reel.  Not ready to try it myself yet.  Thanks

it's probably a typical design.  if you can get familiar with the design and be able to service it yourself, you will probably get some decent use out of it.  they have to take alot of shortcuts when they market a reel like this.  their margins are going to be pretty slim.
