What's the difference between a PG 440 and a 441? Thanks
David

Width. 440 is about the width as a 113H the 441 is between the 113H and the 113HLW.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Mark and Bryan have it correct.

The 441 is the reel I see the Hawaiian boys are always wanting as a standard. A wide 113.   I have one and cannot imagine a use for it.

I actually acquired both in a roundabout fashion or I would not have them.
I woke today and suddenly nothing happened.

Mark,

My ProGear 454C-6 which is a Yellowtail Special lists 375 yards of 30 lb mono so I'm thinking one should get more than 300 yards of 40 but as we all know manufactures specs can be iffy many times. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

I fish 60 lb braid and 50 lb toppers on mine, it has only seen the water one time and was fished for around 20 minutes. Sadly no fish on it yet because I hardly ever fish 50 lb.

I saw the published numbers as 475 of 30# for the 541 and 400 of 40# for the 440 and 300 of 40# on the 454. I calc 475 of 30# as equivalent to 316 of 40#. I'd calc 375 of 30# as more than 300 yds of 40# too.  I suspect they just pick a 'nice' even number to publish.
