UPDATE: i flipped the dog around,and thats what was wrong hi folks,i own a an avet hxj raptor,just bought it used.i wanted to open it up and make sure everything was copensedic.anyway,i lightly greased it and reesembled it.i was out doing some jigging,when i set the hook on a bottom fish,i noticed the handle was reversing and making a grinding noise.i took it apart,everything looked good,it does'nt slip all the time,just about half the time.i'm wondering if i put the dog in the right place.thanks
