I got a reel today from a guy who has messed up the gear sleeve when mounting the power handle supplied with his
Ambassduer Predator 5601C.  The reel is a Scandinavian version actually identical to the Inshore classic, appart from the
fast cast and the gearing.

The powerhandle delivered with this reel was identical to the Revo Toro powerhandle, and it 1 mm thicker than the normal 5000/6000 powerhandle. Does anyone know if the Predator/Inshore comes with a powerhandle in the box, and if so, what kind?

Last saturday I bought a new 5600 predator here in Finland. There was no extra handle in the box. Just double knob handle attached to the reel.

This a little offtopic but here we go...

I noticed that predator has different kind of cage compared to my older ambassadeurs. The handle side is flat. There is no "bending" towards the spool. Instead the brake plate has two curbs - one for brakes (as usual) and another that replaces the "bending". So at a quick look the cage looks same as always but it is not.

Is this a new standard for new ambassadeurs or is it just this model... anyone knows?

At least it causes problems in interchangeability (hard word for me.. is it written this way?).

Hi,

as far as i know, is it just the Inshore and the Predator that has a flat side plate.
