The length looks about right, as long as it has 5-40 thread - I'm not familiar with the international reels. Have you got the handle nut lock screw from your 500S you could test fit for length in the frame?

 Welcome to the forum Dynotec

I have a complete frame for a 500S with all the correct screws you'll need from both sides.....the heads are smaller on the "handle" side of the frame

....please pm your address and I'll send it your way

There you go. Problem solved. These are the correct screws for the 500 S https://www.mysticparts.com/32-15-Screw-Short-Pan-Head-P9494.aspx
And the right schismatics https://www.mysticparts.com/Assets/images/pennparts/schematics/500s.pdf

Joe, check out the first picture I posted. Those screws are 32-15ís straight out of the bag from Mystic. Too long. I feel like if anything good can come from this thread (record) , itís the part number for these screws. I want to try to give back for the time you guys spend helping me and others. Iím planning on ordering some various short pan heads from Mystic to see if I can break the code and report back. Nothing but respect for you Guys.

Thanks for taking the time to inform me/us about those screws  Undecided Huh? I don't know why those 32-15s are to long. I think I would just shorten them and tell Scott about that situation.
