Reel Newbie

So I was strolling through Home Depot the other day when a scraper made by husky caught my eye. The knob on top seemed like the right size for a reel handle. The problem is that I don't know how to mount one on a handle blade. I have a little glimpse into how with a ling cod handle that I got with a reel. It consists of a carriage bolt, 2 nuts and a stout handle bar. The tolerances are very loose and the handle feels very cheap because of it. Any ideas on mounting a knob?

:)  If you are looking for knobs already made look in the kitchen cabinet hardware isle , then hardware isle for stainless steel machine screws and nuts.
