Hi all,

John from Garden Grove, to share my Newell projects addiction.

I been working on this reel clamp about 6 months and things are coming along pretty well. Just finished the mold and here are the parts.

Feel free to pick my brain, with any questions you have.

looks really nice.  once you get the prices settled, feel free to post it in the "for sale" section.  it looks like a great product.  is it going to be reinforced like the stock newel clamps?
send me an email at alantani@yahoo.com for questions!

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Thank you Alan, I'm  working on the sales side part time aside from my other projects.  Glass filled nylon 66 - which is used in heavy sports equipment. the load is spread out by 6 folds  to remove screw load.

Hi Swami, Yes, testing the market to introduce the new clamp for deckhand style rods. Now East coast guys are asking for another flavor of the clamp and it is in progress. I will be hitting the landing giving some away for exposure to Newell reels and Daiwa as well. I'm trying to get in the fredhall Show in long beach.
