I Was going to post this earlier.  (Ran into a plumbing problem in the house I had to take care of first)  Just about every year we head to Biloxi for a weekend of fishing.  It's about a 5 hour drive south of Memphis.     We've been going with the same guide for years and he does an awesome job.  (I posted about Robert earlier under the charter section)  I have 2 sons and they've grown up fishing with me, I always enjoy fishing with my boys and They have really turned into fine fisherman!      We fished Saturday 3/16 and goodness it was cold!  Especially running between spots but the fishing was hot.  We fished light tackle. Penn Fierce 4000's with 10 lb main line and a 30 lb leader with live shrimp on a 1/0 hook.  We Caught redfish,  black drum, sheepshead. (These have vertical stripes and teeth but do not look like the west coast sheepshead) a flounder and a few more.  We released what I'd estimate much more than double what we kept.  Good family Times!

Nice Mike, way to go.  Keep those kids fishing.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Gobi King

Nice, good eating species!

Sounds like a great trip !!  We were in Biloxi on Tuesday.....but not fishing !! We had to make a casino run.....should have fished, instead !! We've caught some fish, here on Dauphin Island , this winter, but it's been slow going.  Way too much fresh / muddy water coming down out of Mobile bay, I guess. Leaving for home tomorrow morning, so my Gulf fishing is all over until December :'(
There's nothing wrong with a few "F's" on your record....Food, Fun, Flowers, Fishing, Friends, and Fun....to name just a few !

You know I never seen a sad face when a person is holding a fish he or she just caught. ;D

A great time for sure!    The redfish on my avatar was on light tackle a few years ago, always a fun challenge!  But you all  know the best part is being able to share this love of fishing with my boys.
