It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Brian Purrone aka "Oceanreels". His wife Jackie just called to let me know. As you all know, Brian had one of the finest collections of reels in the world and was a regular contributor to the board. His expertise, and friendly demeanor will be missed by all.

So sorry to hear this, sounds like a great man, may he RIP!

:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

It's a sad day for reel collectors world wide. Brian had a wealth of knowledge and always willing to share. RIP, Brian!
